How to Combat Freezing & Feet Feeling Like Concrete
To use local vibration therapy on feet that feel like concrete to help improve sensory feedback and relief, start with our low frequency Rehab -> Sensory Feedback & Tissue Health -> Direct setting for 10-15 minutes. Apply the device directly to the plantar (bottom) side of your feet for up to 10-15 minutes per session, and increase the duration or intensity only if you don't experience pain. Ensure the room is warm (around 25 °C), position yourself comfortably with your feet bare, and consider doing this 2–3 times a week on non-consecutive days to allow for recovery.
Before you begin
- Consult a professional: Talk to your doctor or physical therapist before starting, especially if you have underlying conditions like neuropathy or are concerned about pain.
- Create a comfortable environment: Set the room to a warm temperature (around 25°C) and be sure to remove your shoes and socks for direct application.
Step-by-step guide
- Position yourself: Sit comfortably on a chair or couch with your feet bare, placing them on a footstool if necessary.
- Apply the device: Place the Pulse Device directly on the plantar (bottom) side of your feet. You can use 1-2 devices per foot (see placement picture below).
- Set the frequency: Start with the Rehab -> Sensory Feedback & Tissue Health -> Direct setting. The vibration should not cause pain.
- Start the session: Begin a 10–15 minute session, applying the vibration to both feet if necessary.
- Monitor your body: Pay attention to how your body responds. If you experience worsening symptoms, reduce the intensity or stop altogether.
- Practice progression: Only increase the duration or intensity if you do not experience any negative side effects.
- Schedule sessions: Aim for 2–3 sessions per week, ensuring there are non-consecutive days in between for recovery.

Important considerations
- Avoid pain: The treatment should never be painful. If you feel pain, stop and adjust the frequency, intensity, or duration.
- Gradual progression: Avoid increasing both duration and intensity at the same time. Increase one first and see how you feel before increasing the other.
- Consistency is key: Perform the sessions consistently (2–3 times a week) to see potential improvements in symptoms over time.
- Holistic approach: Consider integrating vibration therapy with other methods like stretching, as suggested in some resources.
