Fingers and Wrist Extension Routine With Pulse Devices
This routine is designed to assist in flexion of the fingers and wrist. The first step should be done by all and the rest can be performed depending on one’s specific needs.
1. General Finger and Wrist Flexion

These placements and settings are a great place to start to bring some mobility and strength to the muscles responsible for flexion of the wrist and fingers.

Warm-Up
Setting used: Warm-Up Type 1
Use for 10-15 minutes to help promote muscle growth and activation in subsequent exercise or movements

Finger Extension Exercise
Setting Used: Rehab -> Motor Function -> General -> Pulsing
Use with movement. With the vibrations try to extend all four fingers and extend your wrist. If any fingers struggle to extend: extend those fingers individually with assistance from your other hand.

Muscle Recovery
Setting Used: Rehab -> Sensory & Proprioceptive Feedback -> Direct
Use for 10-15 minutes after exercise to help with recovery
2. Pinky and Wrist Flexion

Setting Used: Rehab -> Strength Recovery -> General
These placements are intended to target the muscle used to extend your pinky as well as contributing to wrist flexion
Use while extending and relaxing your pinky finger.
3. Thumb Extension & Mobility
Setting Used: Rehab -> Sensory & Proprioceptive Feedback -> Indirect
Flex your thumb along with the vibrations. You can use your other hand to assist as needed.
4. Hand Cramping

For General Use
Setting used: Rehab -> Motor Function -> General -> Pulsing
Users should try both the setting above and below as they can both be important for hand cramping. Use for a total of up to 15 minutes at a time.

With Hand Opening Exercises
Setting Used: Warm-Up -> Type 1
This setting is to be used while users try to open and close their hands. The vibrations can help users to connect with the hand muscles as well as aiding in increasing the range of motion.
